Md. Jumon Ali

Md. Jumon Ali is an advocate, Supreme Court of Bangladesh and intellectual property and corporate lawyer actively practicing at the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and DPDT as well as is the Managing Partner of VisionaryIP Alliance. He completed his LL.B. (Hons) and LL.M. from the reputed and old university in Bangladesh namely University of Dhaka in 2012 and 2013 respectively.

He has extensive experience in intellectual property law, corporate law and civil litigation and is considered as the leading IP enforcement lawyer in Bangladesh. He has been practicing intellectual property law in the Department of Patent, Industrial Design and Trademark (DPDT), Ministry of Industries, Dhaka, and Supreme Court of Bangladesh since 2015.

He is proactively advocating and supporting for brand designers and entrepreneurs for the Program of Intellectual Property Fundamentals for Brand Designers and Co-creation of MSMEs Brands organized by WIPO with the cooperation of Japan Patent Office (JPO) and supported by DPDT in Bangladesh. He was also Ex-WIPO National Consultant, Project for Rangpur Shataranji Brand Protection particularly for Technical Assistance the beneficiaries of the Shataranji carpet brand development project on trademark protection and usage to commercialize the IP assets. He further advocated and supported Women SME Entrepreneurs in Bangladesh for their Brand Protection organized and cooperated by WIPO.

He participated in Intellectual Property Law Moot Court Competition in India Organized by Service Export Promotion Council Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India as Young IP lawyer and secured the 3^rd place in the competition.
